This is the EN8245X6's standout feature. It supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) technology and utilizes a 4×4 MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) antenna design along with 160MHz bandwidth. This results in significantly superior performance—regarding wireless coverage, efficiency during simultaneous multi-device connections, and network latency control—compared to traditional 100Mbps or Wi-Fi 5 optical modems.
In addition to three Gigabit Ethernet ports, it features a 2.5Gbps (2.5GE) Ethernet port. This interface overcomes the speed limitations of standard Gigabit ports, allowing it to better match high-speed broadband plans (such as 2000Mbps) and enabling PCs or high-end routers with 2.5G ports to operate at their full performance potential.
