The MA5800-X7 employs a distributed forwarding architecture, delivering up to 200 Gbit/s of bandwidth per slot to easily meet the access requirements of future high-bandwidth services. It also supports a smooth evolution path from GPON/EPON to 10G PON and even future 50G PON technologies, effectively protecting user investment.
As the industry's first distributed-architecture OLT, its forwarding capacity scales linearly with the addition of service boards. Leveraging SDN (Software-Defined Networking) virtualization capabilities, a single physical OLT can be virtualized into multiple logical OLTs; this facilitates multi-service isolation and wholesale network operations, enabling differentiated services for applications such as smart homes and dedicated enterprise lines.
Its compact 6U chassis allows for flexible deployment in space-constrained access network equipment rooms or cabinets. With a weight of approximately 26 kg when fully configured, it is easy to install and maintain. It supports a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +65°C, ensuring reliability in diverse and harsh physical environments
